These Terms govern participation inside THE 100 BTC and the acquisition of permanent monument placements.
Introduction
These Terms of Service govern use of THE 100 BTC and THE100BTC.COM and any placement purchases made through the platform. By submitting a placement request, you agree to these Terms.
The Service
THE 100 BTC is a permanent public Bitcoin monument composed of finite placement blocks. Participants acquire permanent public placements that become part of a shared monument registry. Placements are intended to remain part of THE 100 BTC indefinitely. Transfers are not currently supported through the platform.
Permanent Nature
THE 100 BTC is intended to serve as a persistent public monument and historical registry.
Participation is designed around permanence. Placements become lasting public records inside THE 100 BTC and are intended to remain part of the monument indefinitely, subject only to content moderation requirements and circumstances beyond reasonable operational control.
Payment
All payments are made in Bitcoin (BTC) at a rate of 0.01 BTC per block. All sales are generally final. Because Bitcoin payments are irreversible by nature, refunds are not possible except where required by applicable law.
Content Policy
The following content is prohibited and will result in rejection of the placement request:
- Adult content, pornography, escort or dating services
- Gambling, casinos, or betting services
- Alcohol or tobacco products or brands
- Illegal drugs or controlled substances
- Weapons, firearms, or ammunition
- Scams, phishing, fake giveaways, or financial fraud
- Malware, spyware, or malicious software
- Pyramid schemes or unregistered securities
- Political parties, candidates, or political campaigns
- Content that violates applicable laws
Right of Refusal
THE 100 BTC reserves the right to reject any placement request at its sole discretion. Placements violating content policies may be subject to moderation action, including removal where necessary. Refund eligibility in such cases remains at the sole discretion of THE 100 BTC unless required by law.
Logo Updates
One free logo update is permitted per placement for legitimate rebranding purposes. THE 100 BTC reserves the right to reject logo updates that violate the Content Policy.
Limitation of Liability
THE 100 BTC is provided "as is." No guarantees are made about uptime or availability beyond reasonable commercial efforts. Liability is excluded for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
Changes to Terms
These Terms may be updated at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
